What is the PDI?
The Institutional Development Plan (PDI), regulated by Decree No. 9,235, dated December 15, 2017, is a long-term plan aimed at guiding the development and growth of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), encompassing all their areas of activity: teaching, research, extension, and management.
In addition to identifying and characterizing the HEI, the PDI also establishes its vision for the future, strategic objectives, goals, and strategies for the time horizon defined by the institution (usually five years), covering all its areas, levels of education, modes of delivery, and areas of activity.
Starting in 2023, Unesc will begin the review and update of its PDI, a process that will extend throughout 2024 and will be in effect for a period of five years.
