Differentials
- Advanced Infrastructure: Surveying, Geodesy, Astronomy, Photogrammetry, Cartography, Geoprocessing, and Soil Mechanics laboratories, all equipped with updated software for practical and effective learning;
- Tradition and Recognition: With over 49 years of activity, the program has graduated more than 800 qualified professionals, being the only Surveying and Cartographic Engineering program in Santa Catarina;
- Internships and Partnerships: The program offers internships from the early stages in companies and public agencies, culminating in a practical internship in the 9th semester and a Final Project (TCC) in the 10th semester. Partnerships with the Santa Catarina Association of Surveying Engineers and the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy enrich the academic training;
- Qualified Faculty: Composed of doctors, masters, and specialists active in the field, providing practical and academic experience in various projects such as subdivisions, roads, environmental recovery, and land regularization;
- Academic and Scientific Activities: Participation in congresses and state, national, and international meetings, in addition to access to scholarships and scientific initiation programs;
- Market and Perspectives: Almost 100% of graduates are employed in the job market, working in engineering firms, construction companies, scientific institutions, public agencies such as Deinfra, Dnit, and Incra, among others. Surveying and cartographic engineers also have the option to work as freelancers or in service provision offices.
What will you learn?
During the program, you will develop technical skills and comprehensive knowledge in areas such as calculations, physics, soil mechanics, geology, technical registrations, surveying, geodesy, cartography, aerial photogrammetry, subdivisions, roads, among other subjects. The training combines theory with practical activities, integrating new technologies such as drones and UAVs, along with technical visits for a complete and updated learning experience.
In addition to the undergraduate program, Unesc offers postgraduate opportunities in various fields, including master's and doctoral programs, as well as participation in scientific initiation projects that enrich the academic and professional training of students.
Job Market
Graduates in Surveying and Cartographic Engineering are prepared to work in various areas of the market, meeting the growing demand for specialists in geoprocessing, urban planning, territorial management, and more.
