Unesc Anthem
Maestro Antônio Luiz Urnau (music)
Prof. Íris Guimarães Borges (lyrics)
University of Southernmost Santa Catarina,
For your history, you prove that will prevails.
You are, for us, a refuge of search and knowledge,
You are the source from which, thirsty, we can drink.
Verse
O Unesc, universal,
Behold the brightness of this light:
They are beams of mental light,
That shine in your praise.
In a wide mesh, in links of extensive reach,
You extend your mantle of radiant effervescence.
Seeking the truth of teaching, research, extension,
You cultivate freedom and fulfill your mission.
You are, from beloved Criciúma, an august banner;
More than a symbol, more than a dream, you are a sturdy pillar.
Hear, with immense pride we raise our voice,
In unison song that echoes from us.
Hail, hail Unesc, for your always bold struggle!
Of other battles and many victories you are capable,
May your honorable mission be guided by God,
May your days be filled only with light and glory.
